STUDIO MASTRO – SHIPPING POLICY

1. GENERAL OVERVIEW At STUDIO MASTRO, we provide a curated shopping experience for collectible art objects. Due to the handcrafted nature of our porcelain works and architectural lighting, each piece undergoes a rigorous production and quality control process before shipment.

2. PRODUCTION & LEAD TIMES Most STUDIO MASTRO objects are handcrafted upon order to maintain the highest level of craftsmanship.

  • Made-to-order items: Standard production time is up to 4 weeks from the date of order confirmation.
  • Unique (one-of-one) items: These objects are typically in stock and will be processed for shipment within 3–5 business days.

Please note that lead times are estimates and may vary during peak periods or for complex bespoke commissions. You will be notified via email once your order has been dispatched.

3. SHIPPING DESTINATIONS & ESTIMATED TRANSIT TIMES We ship worldwide via DHL. Estimated transit times after the production period are as follows:

  • Domestic (Hungary): 1–2 business days
  • Europe — EU Zone 1–3 (Austria, Germany, France, Italy, Netherlands, Belgium, Poland, Czech Republic, Romania, Slovakia, Slovenia, Croatia, Ireland, Luxembourg, Bulgaria, Malta, Denmark, Finland, Greece, Latvia, Lithuania, Portugal, Spain, Sweden, Estonia, United Kingdom): 3–5 business days
  • Europe — Zone 5 (Norway, Switzerland, Liechtenstein, Turkey): 5–7 business days
  • USA: 3–7 business days
  • Rest of World (Australia, Japan, Hong Kong, UAE, Israel, Canada, Mexico, Singapore, South Korea and others): 3–7 business days

Transit times are estimates provided by our carrier and are not guaranteed. STUDIO MASTRO is not liable for delays caused by shipping carriers, customs processing, or international postal services.

4. SHIPPING RATES & FREE SHIPPING Shipping costs are calculated at checkout based on the volumetric weight and destination of your order.

Domestic (Hungary):

  • Standard shipping: €7 (small items) / €12 (large items)
  • Free shipping on orders above 75,000 HUF

Europe (EU + Norway, Switzerland, Liechtenstein, Turkey, United Kingdom):

  • Standard shipping: €21–€53 depending on destination and item size
  • Free shipping on orders above €300 (EU Zones 1–3) / €350 (Zone 5)

USA:

  • Standard shipping: €75–€210 depending on item size
  • Free shipping on orders above €700

Rest of World:

  • Standard shipping: €100–€295 depending on item size
  • Free shipping on orders above €800

Customs, Duties & Taxes: For orders shipped outside the European Union (e.g., USA, UK, Switzerland), the recipient is the importer of record and must comply with all laws and regulations of the destination country. Orders may be subject to import taxes, customs duties, and fees levied by the destination country. STUDIO MASTRO has no control over these charges and cannot predict what they may be.

5. SHIPPING GUARANTEE (DAMAGES) We take full responsibility for the safe arrival of your order. Our objects are shipped in specialised, secure architectural packaging designed to withstand international transit. With over 14 years of experience in ceramics packaging, we utilize a professional double-boxing technique using heavy-duty cardboard.

In the rare event of shipping damage, we provide a free replacement as part of our premium service. To claim a replacement:

  • You must contact us at hello@studiomastro.com within 48 hours of delivery
  • You must provide clear photographic evidence of the damaged exterior packaging, the interior padding, and the damaged object itself
  • Failure to report damages within the 48-hour window may result in the forfeiture of the shipping guarantee

6. DELIVERY ATTEMPT & UNCLAIMED PACKAGES The carrier will attempt delivery to the address provided at checkout. If a package is returned to STUDIO MASTRO due to an incorrect address, failed delivery attempts, or because it remained unclaimed at a local depot, the customer will be responsible for the additional shipping costs to resend the order.
