Lighting Specifications & Bulb Guide | STUDIO MASTRO

To ensure the intended appearance and correct use of your STUDIO MASTRO light object, please review the following technical information, installation requirements and styling recommendations.

1. General Technical Specifications

  • Socket: E27 standard. High-quality metal or heat-resistant thermoplastic components are used depending on the series.

  • Light Source: E27 LED bulb only.

  • Maximum Wattage: 15W LED. Traditional incandescent and halogen bulbs must not be used, as their significantly higher operating temperature may damage the electrical components or porcelain surfaces.

  • Cable: Premium textile-covered cable. Standard length: 2 metres. Custom lengths for interior projects are available upon request at hello@studiomastro.com.

  • Light Bulb: Not included. The customer must select an E27 LED bulb rated for the electrical supply voltage applicable in the country of use.

2. Connection and Installation

Pendant and Suspended Lights

The electrical assembly used in STUDIO MASTRO pendant lights is pre-assembled by a specialist European lighting-components supplier and integrated into the porcelain body without modification to its internal wiring or electrical components.

Pendant lights are designed for fixed connection to the ceiling electrical supply and do not require a mains plug.

Final installation and connection must be carried out by a qualified electrician in accordance with the electrical and building regulations applicable at the place of installation.

Table and Floor Lights

Due to differences between national electrical and plug standards, STUDIO MASTRO table and floor lights are supplied without a mains plug.

Before use, a plug compliant with the regulations of the destination country must be fitted and the completed electrical assembly checked by a qualified electrician.

The light object must not be connected to the electrical supply or used before the appropriate plug has been professionally fitted and the completed assembly has been checked.

3. Light Bulb and International Use

The light bulb is not included with the light object.

This allows the customer to select an E27 LED bulb that:

  • is rated for the local electrical supply voltage;

  • complies with the requirements applicable in the country of use;

  • provides the preferred colour temperature and light intensity;

  • does not exceed the specified maximum of 15W LED.

Because electrical standards and supply voltages differ between countries, the absence of an included bulb should not be interpreted as a statement of universal electrical compatibility. Customers outside markets where E27 is the established standard should consult a qualified local electrician before installation or use.

4. The “MASTRO Look” | Recommended Aesthetics

To achieve the architectural proportions and atmospheric glow presented in the STUDIO MASTRO photography, we recommend the following light sources.

A) Table and Floor Lights

PLINTH, TOWER and MUFFIN series

  • Recommended Type: G125 LED Globe in Smoke Grey or Opal Glass

  • Aesthetics: The oversized 125 mm diameter provides the visual weight required to balance the porcelain body

  • Recommended Output: Approximately 140–200 lumens

  • Recommended Colour Temperature: 2000K–2200K for a warm, ambient glow

B) Pendant and Suspended Lights

PLINTH and JOINT series

  • Recommended Type: ST64 Edison-style LED with an elongated form

  • Aesthetics: The vertical proportion of the ST64 complements the layered porcelain forms and the fall of the textile-covered cable

  • Recommended Output: Approximately 140–200 lumens

  • Recommended Colour Temperature: 2000K–2200K for a warm, ambient glow

5. Important Safety Information

  • Intended for indoor use only, unless expressly stated otherwise on the individual product page.

  • Use only a compatible E27 LED bulb with a maximum power of 15W.

  • Do not use incandescent or halogen bulbs.

  • Do not connect or use a table or floor light before the appropriate local mains plug has been professionally fitted and the completed electrical assembly checked.

  • Pendant lights must be installed and connected by a qualified electrician.

  • Do not use the light object if the cable, socket, switch or any other electrical component appears damaged.

  • Disconnect the light object from the electrical supply before replacing the bulb, cleaning it or moving it.

  • Never cover the light source or place the light object close to flammable materials.

  • Always follow the electrical regulations and installation requirements applicable in the country and location of use.
