These one-off-one vessels are statement art objects that reinterpret these historical roots through a contemporary minimalist lens. Explored through the high-stakes alchemy of wood-firing and gas-firing atmospheres, the direct interplay between the high-intensity blue and Clear or Celadon glazes creates a vivid, unrepeatable dialogue on the porcelain surface. These vessels transcend their utilitarian roots to become powerful sculptural objects—a soulful harmony between a masterful command of technique and the ancestral power of the kiln.
